As CEO, Jed focuses most of his time sourcing new acquisition, management and development deals, along with meeting with new investors, lenders and industry experts. Jed also oversees the management team responsible for each property’s performance, ensuring properties are outperforming in their markets. Prior to forming Coastal Hospitality Group, Jed worked in acquisition and development roles, specializing in self storage, land subdivisions and commercial mixed-use properties. Jed holds an active real estate license in California and Arizona and has been a member of the Urban Land Institute since 2004. [email protected]
As President of Acquisition & Development, Matt uses his resources and connections he has developed over the last 13 years as a successful real estate broker in Miami, to identify new hotel projects and recruit new equity. As a Principal, Matt has invested his own capital into several of CHGs hotels, and therefore has a thorough understanding of the investment process and what makes a hotel project profitable. Tony Joined CHG in 2013 when they had just acquired their second hotel, and has since been involved in managing operations through the rapid growth of the company and expansion to the east coast. Tony was responsible for establishing and overseeing the central reservation center, which has been a key component in making coast to coast operations possible for our smaller boutique properties. Tony holds an active California real estate license and is a Young Leader at the Urban Land Institute. [email protected]

Stephen Beck brings 20 years of hospitality experience in hotel operations, food and beverage, sales & marketing, revenue management, executive coaching and corporate oversight. Paired with a passion for connecting people from across the globe to a more peaceful, joyful state of being. He discovered yoga during his recovery from heart surgery and opened a Yoga Studio / Bed & Breakfast in downtown San Diego. There he taught guests from around the world life expanding yogic practices. This momentum sparked a journey to develop a mindful / yogic hotel brand called Hotel Satori that introduces guests to elements of mindful living. Hotel Satori introduces guests to holistic products and services that follow fair trade, organic, sustainability and GMO-free guidelines. Sourcing goods and products locally whenever possible. Partnering with world peace organizations and the local community. The brand provides 5% of all room profits to house the homeless and feed the hungry. Mr. Beck joined CHG in early 2018 to bolster the organization’s ability to operate and expand the hotel portfolio. A consummate entrepreneur and innovator, Marius is always on the hunt for opportunities across every market, in every vertical. His mind is constantly at work on how to streamline, revise, reposition, or repackage to creatively increase margins. This approach has been applied countless times professionally. From his early days in Indonesia trading currencies to the production and sale of Blue Ray Discs and Blu Lasers sold to universities across the country. It is his passionate determination and critical thinking that allowed him to prosper in the highly regulated Billboard Industry. His ability to navigate state, federal and city regulations and associated bureaucracies is his secret weapon in developing over 10, multimillion-dollar projects in Louisiana and California. Marius joined CHG to apply his highly focused approach to finding and acquiring distressed hotel assets and lands for our glamping brand: Hotel and Camp Satori.
As Director of Marketing, Katherine is responsible for establishing and executing all marketing plans for both the corporate company as well as each of the individual properties. As Yield Manager, she focuses on maximizing revenue at each location by actively managing inventory and rates to ensure the highest occupancy is achieved at the highest rate for each room type. Katherine has her certification in Advanced Hospitality Revenue Management from the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business and holds a real estate license in MA. [email protected]

Tony Joined CHMCO in 2013 when CHG had just acquired their second hotel, and has since been involved in managing operations through the rapid growth of the company and expansion to the east coast. As CEO of the management company Tony oversees all day-to-day operations, leading a team of 60 plus employees and ensuring financial success of each business. Tony holds an active California real estate license and is a Young Leader at the Urban Land Institute. [email protected]

Amber joined Coastal Companies in Feb 2022 as an Executive Assistant, supporting our corporate office with day-to-day administration and coordinating admin support with our porftolio companies. [email protected]

Marcia Nicholson

Sales Manager, Central Reservation Center
As Sales Manager, Marcia runs our central reservation and customer service center, where all inbound calls and email inquiries come through for each property in the CHG portfolio. Overseeing a team of sale agents, Marcia ensures that all inquiries are tended to promptly and reservations are booked at competitive rates, maximizing occupancy and ADR for each property.
